Duty Of Cooperation
You are legally required to support any efforts to clarify how and why you fled to Germany (Duty of Cooperation). This includes the duty to provide public authorities with any proof that supports your account (i.e. pictures, medical certificates, passports, travelling tickets). Remember, untruthful accounts can lead to the rejection of your application. Failing to cooperate with the public institutions might have negative consequences for your asylum procedure, such as loosing your residence permit. For further information regarding individual matters, please contact your Refugee Advice Office.
