The Right to Relocate One's Family to Germany

Usually, only recognized refugees have the right to bring their spouses and under-age children to Germany (Recht auf Familiennachzug). The right to relocate one's familiy to Germany has been suspended for persons that have been granted subsidiary protection until the 16th March 2018. However the Refugee Advice Offices can help you, use this interim period to prepare the application forms for a relocation of your family to Germany at a later date. There are several limitations, conditions, exceptions and deadlines to keep in mind, especially as the legal situation changes frequently.
