Municipal Support Team for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

The Municipal Support Team for Refugees and Asylum Seekers can help you with the daily beauracracy or with finding a flat or a school place for your kids. They cannot provide legal advise with regards to your asylum procedure, since they are a public institution and doing so might lay the basis for legal claims. The Municipal Support Team is only responsible for asylum seekers and refugees whose asylum application has not yet been decided and who receive benefits according to the Asylum Seeker's Benefits Act (Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz).
